Banksy is a name that you may not be too familiar with. Even less likely is that you have any idea what the man looks like. I can guarantee, though, that you have seen some of his work.

Known throughout the world for being an edgy, ground-breaking graffiti artist, Banksy has left his mark everywhere from New Orleans to Palestine to his home in England. The artist’s background is one that cannot be entirely confirmed, but we do know what he’s been up to recently.

In between creating his works of art, Banksy has been working on what he calls, “the world’s first street art disaster movie.” “Exit Through the Gift Shop” premiered at Sundance this year, and although reviews are mixed, it looks like a lot of fun. Just think, how much fun would it be to get in the mind of such an innovative and provocative artist such as Banksy?

If you’re interested in learning more about the elusive artist, make sure to head out to 5 Points Theatre June 25th!
