Many believe that this is a team that only tries hard under two scenarios – if they are facing a division rival or if they are a huge underdog. The 2010-11 season brings a fairly balanced schedule, with the Jags facing some easier non-divisional opponents such as Denver, Buffalo, Kansas City, Cleveland, and Oakland, while also having to face the likes of the Chargers, Eagles, Cowboys, and Giants in some not-so-easy matches outside the division. Order Jacksonville Jaguars tickets now and make your way to Jacksonville Municipal Stadium to see just which team shows up and how far they will get this coming season.

FYI:
It is the line-backing corps which is the strength of the Jacksonville Jaguars’ defense; playing on the strong side, Daryl Smith is one of the more underrated players in the NFL; Kirk Morrison, acquired via a trade with Oakland, should plug the middle; weakside linebacker Justin Durant is a good run defender.

FYI:
Looking to improve in this area of pressuring the quarterback, Jacksonville did sign defensive end Aaron Kampman to a four-year, $24 million deal in March. Kampman was a great pass-rusher for the Packers, generating 38 sacks between 2006 and 2008 in the 4-3, before struggling in the Pack’s new 3-4 last season prior to tearing his ACL in November. If healthy, Kampman could dominate for the Jaguars, which is a good thing because, unfortunately, if Kampman cannot get to the quarterback, there may be no one else in Jacksonville who will.
