Experience Florida’s Intracoastal Waterway

Posted by thornton On December - 10 - 2010

Have you ever braved the waters of Florida’s Intracoastal Waterway? Okay, there may be nothing to “brave,” but every Jacksonville citizen should do themselves a favor and venture out on these waters!

The Intracoastal Waterway stretches a total of 3,000 miles, from Virginia, all the way down the coast of Florida. Jacksonville’s section of Florida’s Intracoastal Waterway is one of the more interesting parts of the body of water, filled with marshes and wide rivers.

The entire waterway is filled with history, dating back to 1919 when the United States Congress approved the creation of the waterway. Experience a new adventure on an old, but timeless, natural wonder that is Florida’s Intracoastal Waterway.

When will you start your adventure? Experience Florida as nature meant you to on Florida’s Intracoastal Waterway.

Head to the Pool!

Posted by thornton On October - 2 - 2010

I think we should all just ignore that little reminder on our calendars about tomorrow. As far as I can tell, and feel, it’s still going to be summer for some time. In fact, the temperature may have dropped a few degrees, but that just makes the summer breezes and sunny days that much more enjoyable! If you’re like me, then you’re going to keep celebrating summer like, well…it’s still summer!

My favorite way to keep summer alive is something we can all do right at home. Invite your friends over to Thornton Park for an impromptu pool party. Splash around for hours and enjoy this beautiful weather while it lasts.

What are your favorite summer apartment activities that you want to keep doing through the fall?

Posted by thornton On September - 24 - 2010

Ray Lamontagne has got to be one of the best singer/songwriters out there these days. His raw, beautiful voice mixed with his enticing chords and captivating melodies make his music something so hypnotic that it’s hard for anyone to keep from humming right along.

If you’ve seen him live, then you know just how amazing it is to catch him in person. Luckily for the readers of the Coventry Park blog, you now have a really good chance at getting to see Ray Lamontagne up close and personal.

Presale tickets for the band’s Jacksonville show have gone on sale today, and they’ll be going fast! The only way to get in on this deal is to enter the code, “PARIAH” and you can start purchasing your tickets.
